SATAN'S BLADE (1984): 30TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION DVD/BD Artwork Debut

The 1980s slasher film will be released on DVD/BD for the first time 

CHICAGO, March 13, 2015 - DreadCentral.com debuted the brand new, official poster from SATAN’S BLADE today. The 80s slasher film is getting its DVD and Blu-ray debut this Spring from Slasher // Video and Martini Entertainment, a division of Olive Films.

The poster, DVD and Blu-ray cover art pays homage to the genre, using elements from the original poster and vintage VHS covers. Olive Films took cues from memories of video rental when creating the art.

SATAN’S BLADE was remastered from a 2K scan using the original 35mm print. The film has been out of print since its VHS release in the mid-1980s. Written by L. Scott Castillo Jr. (original story) and Thomas Cue (screenplay), SATAN’S BLADE stars Tom Bongiorno, Stephanie Leigh Steel, Thomas Cue, Ramona Andrada (The Wizard of Speed and Time), Diane Taylor (The Legend of Frank Woods, Apache Blood), and Ski Mark Ford (Lovers, Liars and Thieves). L. Scott Castillo Jr directs.

SATAN’S BLADE, which will have its DVD and Blu-ray release on May 12, 2015, is the first in a series of Slasher // Video and Martini Entertainment collaborations.
