SCREAM FACTORY (2020)
No in-depth review here folks, it's Friday the 13th, it's fucking awesome! I just wanted to give you guys a quick comparison of the transfers of the first film, comparing the 2013 Paramount scan with the newer 2020 Scream Factory 4K scan.
You will notice that the Paramount release is incorrectly framed in 1.78:1 widecreen while the Scream Factory release maintains the original 1.85:1 theatrical exhibition ratio, so we get a sliver more information along the edges with the Paramount release. That slight re-framing which reveals more info never bothered, but I am happy to see them properly framed from Scream Factory just the same.
