I was so impressed with this upgrade that I could not wait to share these screenshot comparisons of Alejandro Jodorowsky's batshit-slasher SANTA SANGRE (1989) with you fine folks - pitting Severin's own 2010 Blu-ray up against their new 4K restoration that is included on their 4-disc Limited Edition set! Very few comparisons are as night and day as these, the new restoration is a knock-out, making the 2010 release look drab and lifeless by comparison. The new UHD does not have HDR Dolby Vision or Dolby Atmos audio, but the image looks even better in 4K UHD, which sadly I am unable to pulls screenshots from at this time.
