Parts Two and Three of the Batman: Knightfall Trilogy to Follow Later in 2026 and Early 2027
Warner Bros. Animation, and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment have announced that Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall, based on characters from DC and the DC Comic Book Event, will be available digitally beginning August 25.
Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, DC and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall launches a three-part movie event that brings to life one of the most iconic and beloved sagas in Batman comics history.
On August 25, Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall will be available on participating digital platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Fandango, and more.
On September 8, Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall will be available to own on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD from online and physical retailers. Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall will also continue to be available in high definition and standard definition from participating digital retailers.
Part 2 will be available later in 2026 and Part 3 will be available in early 2027.
Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall stars Anson Mount (“Star Trek: Strange New Worlds”) as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Mando (“Spider-Man: Brand New Day”) as Bane, and Pablo Schreiber (“His & Hers”) as Jean-Paul Valley/Azrael. The film is directed by Jeff Wamester and written by Jeremy Adams. Rick Morales serves as Supervising Producer alongside Producers Jim Krieg and Kimberly S. Moreau. Sam Register and Michael Uslan are Executive Producers.
Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall Digital, 4K UHD, and Blu-ray contain the following special features:
- Breaking the Bat: Adapting the Knightfall: Go behind the scenes with the long-awaited animated adaptation as the filmmakers reveal their process for breaking down the epic story; designing and animating the action; and breathing life into one of the darkest sagas in the Dark Knight’s history.
- Batman Needs a Robin: Many incarnations of Robin have helped Batman fight his war on crime. The filmmakers reveal the vital role Robin plays in the Batman mythology (with an emphasis on Tim Drake), in the iconic Batman: Knightfall series and in the animated adaptation.
