IT’S TIME for more undead action and drama as The Walking Dead: Dead City walks back on to our screens for its highly anticipated third season. Series favourites Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan – Watchmen, Supernatural, The Boys) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan – The Boy, The Vampire Diaries) are back once again with more hellraising happenings in post-apocalyptic New York.
The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 3 is set for its release on Blu-ray, DVD and digital on 16 November 2026, courtesy of Acorn Media International, following its transmission on Sky One. The Complete Series 1 – 3 Box Set will also be available.
With Maggie (Cohan) and Negan (Morgan) finally putting their differences aside, season three sees the unlikely duo team up with newcomers Renata (Aimee Garcia – Dexter, Lucifer) and Luis (Raúl Castillo – Smile 2, Looking), as they endeavor to create the first thriving community in the Big Apple since the apocalypse.
As threats from the inside start to rear their ugly heads, the determined pair are forced to question whether their old wounds have truly healed, or if their dark pasts will spell doom for the entire city.
The first season introduces us to a broken Manhattan, overrun with the undead and ruled by chaos. Maggie, now a hardened leader, joins forces with former nemesis Negan to rescue her kidnapped son, Hershel (Logan Kim – Ghostbusters), from the clutches of the sadistic Croat (Željko Ivanek – Seven Psychopaths, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri). Joined by the mysterious Ginny (Mahina Napoleon – NCIS: Hawai’i) and pursued by merciless marshals, the pair journey through New York’s crumbling skyline where horrors lurk around every corner and not just the flesh-eating kind.
Season two sees our uneasy allies thrown into opposite sides of a brutal turf war that threatens to consume what’s left of civilization. New alliances are formed and old loyalties are tested as the shadowy New Babylon Federation steps in, bringing with it a whole new set of dangers and political intrigue. With factions at war, vicious new enemies emerging and the walkers more ruthless than ever, Maggie and Negan must decide whether survival means standing together... or apart.
The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 3 ‘infuses the world of the undead with more life’ (IGN) with fresh storytelling, electric performances, unexpected twists and turns, and of course, some classic kick-ass zombie action.
