101 Films presents 70s slasher Meatcleaver Massacre (1976). This limited edition
release features both cuts of the film, new interviews with the cast and crew including writer-director Keith Burns, and two booklets – one containing new writing on the film and the other Burns’ original ‘lost’ script.
Originally released in 1976 as Hollywood Meatcleaver Massacre, the film was re-released in 1977 with the shortened title Meatcleaver Massacre and the addition of a Christopher Lee prologue and epilogue.
Directed by Keith Burns and Ed Wood but credited to the pseudonymous Evan Lee, the production was fraught with problems and challenges for the cast and crew. The result is a trippy, telekinetic, and brutal occult revenge film that has gone on to become an underseen classic of the degenerate 70s schlock genre.
Title 032 on the 101 Films Black Label, this limited-edition release features brand new interviews with writer-director Keith Burns and actors Doug Senior and Paul Kelleher. Both the original and theatrical cuts
are included, the latter featuring an intro and outro by horror icon Christopher Lee. Enclosed in a slipcase this title also features two booklets. Axploitation in Blazing Color by Dylan Dean Staley and the original lost
